Our Story
Wildflower weaving was born from my lifelong love of color, design and nature. I am inspired daily by the breathtaking beauty of nature, here in my home of the Pacific Northwest. More specifically, wildflowers have provided artistic allure and joy to me because of their spontaneity of color, place in the natural environment, and playfulness.
I have a passion for creating wearable art including one of a kind scarves, shawls and ponchos that are soft to the touch, luxurious and ultra comfortable to wear. I also love to create table runners that bring color, texture and expression to gathering places, as well as wall hangings and tapestries.
I believe in supporting a community of artists and small business owners. Working with other small business owners that produce hand made and hand dyed yarns helps to promote the creative process that leads to handmade art. I purchase the majority of my art supplies from other artists that produce sustainable materials and one-of-a-kind hand-made and dyed yarns.
